The big 3 that truly stuck to the "Far Cry formula" that 3 kicked off. Far Cry 3 was one of the most important games at the time that basically made an entire genre of open world action games.
Far Cry is quite a mixed bag. When you get right down to it, there's a glaring disparity between the level of polish seen in the graphics, and the level of polish seen in the gameplay. If they were both of the same caliber, this game would have been a classic, but as it stands now there is much to be desired.

To try and get around it you could see if a second account could allow you to play together. My friend and I are playing through PS4 and PS5 through Ubisoft co-op. PlayStation wouldn't let us play regardless so I'm guessing yes through Ubisoft. Yeah my friend tried to go straight to psn and it kept showing errors.
